As holiday shoppers search for last minute gifts, get ready for parties and family gatherings and face the daunting pressure of New Year’s resolutions, model and body-positivity advocate Ashley Graham has teamed up with ATTN: for a new series focused on uncovering the subtle, yet relentless, “Secret Messages” sent to us on a daily basis. In the new eight-episode series, Ashley investigates how we collectively talk and feel about our bodies, leaning on the expertise of researchers, dieticians, historians and psychologists to leave viewers better equipped to identify body shaming when it’s happening.

“Throughout the decade and more specifically over the past few years, those leading and supporting the body positivity movement have encouraged us to accept and celebrate our bodies as they are, yet we are still constantly bombarded with subliminal advertising that makes us feel not good enough or question our body type,” said Ashley Graham, the show’s host and Executive Producer. “This series with ATTN: calls out body shaming where we see it, making everyone more aware and equipped with tools to feel confident in their own skin.”

“There is no better champion for authenticity or body positivity than Ashley Graham,” said ATTN:’s Head of Originals, Mike Vainisi. “When social media can often be a place for shaming and negativity, we’re thrilled to be working with Ashley to bring this series to life to give people the information they need to confront these messages confidently.”

“Secret Messages” is written and produced by ATTN: in partnership with Pretty Big Deal Productions. Episode one premieres on December 26th on Facebook Watch and each episode focuses on a different topic, diving deep into topics like corporate social responsibility, aging, dieting and New Year’s Resolutions.
