Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Cal Poly Pomona and an MBA from UC Irvine (marketing analytics focus). I started my career as a software engineer for Northrop Grumman and then made a move into content analytics working at AT&T U-verse & DirecTV. Most recently, I lead the global sales analytics function at Mattel.

What do you do at ATTN:?

As Head of Insights my primary objective is really simple: to drive informed decision making through a personalized data-narrative. This process happens in two steps. First, we try to always make data accessible and easy to consume through daily reporting, self-service dashboards and weekly office hours that anyone in the company can access. The second step is to do our part to make sure people can take tangible business action from the data. In other words, we want to create a culture of "friendly insights" where we are driving real decision making without the stress of finding those data points for yourself.

What has been your biggest win at ATTN: thus far?

Our biggest wins come in a variety of forms. It could be as complex as an editor using one of our a self-service dashboards to improve video retention on one their videos. Or a win can be as simple as delivering campaign wrap-ups for a client that our sales team has worked so hard to close. When our people have that "aha moment" with data to support their day to day goals, there is no bigger win.

Tell us something we wouldn’t expect.

I've gotten pulled on stage twice at two hip hop concerts - and I got to actually rap at one of them (Public Enemy, Ice Cube).
